Foliar spray fertilizer, also known as foliar feeding, is an essential technique in the cultivation of fruit trees. As a result, foliar fertilization is a practical and effective way to improve yield and fruit quality while reducing manual effort.
Regarding the types and concentrations of foliar fertilizers:
1. **Nitrogen-based fertilizers** such as urea should be used at a concentration of 0.3%.
2. **Ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate** are typically applied at 0.2% concentration.
3. **Phosphate fertilizers**, including monoammonium phosphate and potassium phosphate, are used at 0.5–1% concentration.
4. **Potassium fertilizers**, like potassium chloride and potassium nitrate, are recommended at a concentration of 1%.
The application method involves dissolving the fertilizer in water at the appropriate concentration and spraying it directly onto the leaves.
