It's funny how life works sometimes. We've built this little digital space where we document our kids' growth—photos capturing their ever-changing appearances, videos filled with those sweet, tiny voices that now sound like they're deepening every single day. It's surreal to think about how quickly they're evolving.

Living far away from most of our family has taught me the beauty of staying connected in the digital age. When we get calls or emails referencing specific photos we’ve shared, or even when we visit family and see prints of our photos displayed on their walls, it feels like a reminder of how meaningful this connection really is. It’s almost as if our digital world becomes part of their physical reality too.

Truthfully, I’ve fallen a bit behind on posting these maternity updates lately. Finding time each week to photograph myself isn’t always easy, but it’s such a blessing to witness this little one developing right before our eyes. This baby will be so loved wherever they go—the warmth of the Gulf Coast, the cool breezes of "The Mitten," and countless hugs from loved ones scattered across the country.

Today, I'm reflecting on gratitude. Gratitude for the people who fill my life—near or far. For those who remain constant, regardless of distance. And I’m thankful for the ways technology allows us to stay close, even when miles separate us. I’m especially grateful for the friendships I’ve formed online, for the community that’s grown alongside my children’s stories, and for the encouraging words that brighten my days. Right now, I feel incredibly lucky to carry this growing belly and smile at what lies ahead.

What are you grateful for today?

Just moments ago, I was scrolling through old family albums, reminiscing about birthdays past. It struck me how much joy these memories bring—not just for me, but for everyone involved. Whether it’s a picture of my oldest child blowing out candles on her first birthday or my youngest giggling uncontrollably at some silly toy, these moments shape who we are today. They remind me why I cherish documenting every little detail, no matter how small.

As I sit here, sipping coffee and feeling the gentle kicks against my ribs, I can't help but think about how fleeting these days truly are. Pregnancy feels like both an eternity and a blink of an eye rolled into one. Each stretch mark tells its own story, each morning sickness episode serves as a reminder of sacrifice, and every ultrasound brings new excitement.

Life has a funny way of reminding us what matters most. Amidst the chaos of daily responsibilities, it’s easy to lose sight of what makes us happy. But sitting here, surrounded by pictures and thoughts of love, I realize how important it is to pause and appreciate the journey—not just the destination. So here’s to embracing the present, cherishing relationships, and looking forward with hope.
