As I was searching for some fun Christmas gifts for the younger members of my family—my nephews, nieces, the "boys" of a close friend (her sons), and my own daughter—I stumbled upon a toy website focused on helping parents find safe, high-quality toys for babies, toddlers, and kids. Intrigued, I decided to take a look around, and they kindly sent me the Egg and Spoon Race Game as part of their collection for 3-year-olds. I thought it’d be worth giving it a try!
And guess what? If you're on the hunt for something playful yet affordable (and under $20!) for the little ones in your life, this toy is a real gem.

Egg and Spoon Game

We had so much fun testing this game out during the holidays! My husband and I spent hours laughing and playing with our 3-year-old as we raced through the house balancing these pretend eggs on spoons. It’s such a great way to teach hand-eye coordination and balance. Of course, there were plenty of giggles when the eggs inevitably fell and "broke," revealing the soft bean bag "yolks." She absolutely loved picking them up and putting them back together, sometimes mixing up the colors just for kicks before matching them again.
Family Playing
What really impressed us was how long it held her attention—way over 45 minutes! That’s no small feat for a 3-year-old. And honestly, any toy that can do that is a total win in my book.

By the way, I recently added a few more items to my wishlist for next year. One of them is this adorable wooden train set I found online—it looks perfect for both playtime and learning. What are some of your favorite holiday finds this season?
I hope this helps inspire your gift-giving journey this year. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions—you know, like a certain board game that always brings the family together during the holidays. Happy gifting!
