Chloramphenicol ELISA test kit

1 Overview
The chloramphenicol ELISA immunoassay is used to quantitatively or qualitatively detect the amount of chloramphenicol in contaminated samples . If a positive sample is required, it can be verified by other conventional methods of HPLC, GC/MS.
2 safety guidance
The standard in the kit contains a small amount of chloramphenicol . The substrate contains TMB. The stop solution contains dilute sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. If you accidentally touch it, rinse with plenty of water.
3 storage and stability
The chloramphenicol ELISA kit should be stored at 4–8 °C. Always return to room temperature (20-25 ° C) before use. The kit can be used during the life of the kit. The antibodies supplied were lyophilized (3 tubes). The antibody needs to be diluted with the appropriate dilution before testing. Each dilution should be based on the number of samples per measurement. Do not dilute too much, because it can only be stored in the refrigerator for one week after dilution.
4 principles
The principle is direct competition enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Chloramphenicol is identified by a chloramphenicol- specific antibody . The chloramphenicol and chloramphenicol conjugates in the sample compete for binding to the binding site of the murine anti- chloramphenicol antibody. The chloramphenicol antibody was bound to a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody coated on a microplate. The substrate solution is added through a washing step, and a color reaction occurs ( blue color is produced ) . The intensity of blue is inversely proportional to the amount of chloramphenicol in the sample . The color reaction is terminated after a specific time. Determined by a microplate reader. The chloramphenicol content of the sample was calculated by plotting a standard curve .
5 kit limitations and interference factors
A variety of organic and inorganic substances often appearing in the sample have been tested and there is no interference with the test results of this kit. Interference caused by matrix reaction due to the perishability of the compound cannot be completely avoided. Improper operation may result in incorrect test results, such as incorrect storage conditions of the kit, incorrect sequence of dosing, insufficient amount of reagents, too long or too short incubation time, too high or too low incubation temperature (less than 10) °C, above 30 °C). The Abraxis chloramphenicol ELISA kit provides a preliminary test that, like other assays, requires positive results from other traditional methods.
importance
Antibiotics in food pose a great threat to human health. Due to the low cost of chloramphenicol and a spectral antibiotic, it was first discovered in developing countries. Chloramphenicol is only restricted in the treatment of eye diseases in developed countries. Because chloramphenicol can seriously damage the bone marrow, it is fatal.
Oral chloramphenicol is indicated for the treatment of MRSA or other antibody-resistant infections. Chloramphenicol is commonly used as a veterinary drug for the treatment of small mammals and amphibians. A fungal disease has reduced the number of frogs by a third in the past 30 years. Because of the role of aplastic anemia, allergies, and the development of drug resistance, many countries including Europe, the United States, and Canada have banned the addition of chloramphenicol to animal feed. These countries have also issued decrees to detect chloramphenicol residues in all imported foods. Make sure people are healthy. The chloramphenicol test kit can detect 40 samples with one iteration. It can be tested within 2 hours.
Performance data
Sensitivity: 0.023 ng/mL
