In 2008, Taizhou City introduced microporous oxygen enrichment technology. At present, it has demonstrated and promoted more than 30,000 mu, accounting for only 3% of the aquaculture area. According to the plan, the promotion area will reach 60,000 mu next year.

According to Zhao Liuguan, director of the Taizhou Agriculture Commission, micro-pore aeration technology in ponds is a relatively new and economical breeding technology that has emerged in recent years. From the perspective of demonstration, this technology has fast oxygenation and high efficiency. When the microporous aeration machinery is turned on for two hours, the dissolved oxygen in the water layer of 1 meter underwater increases by 34.8%, and the rate of increase in dissolved oxygen is five times that of ordinary aerators. In addition, micropore oxygenation can significantly improve water quality and save energy. Compared with impeller-type aerators, the same size of aquaculture area can save about 60% of electricity annually.

It is understood that the oxygen aeration pipe is installed at the bottom of the pond to reduce the damage caused by natural disasters to the aerobic system and ensure the normal life of cultured species under adverse weather conditions. When the microporous oxygen aerator is working, it will not stir the water body or injure the fish seedlings, shrimp seedlings and crab seedlings, so that the fish, shrimps and crabs will maintain a strong metabolism, and the utilization rate of the feed, the disease resistance and the quality of aquatic products will be obviously improved. . Tests have shown that using this technology, the yield of crabs can be up to 100 kilograms per mu, and the yield of fish farming can be up to 1,500 kilograms, and the yield can be increased by more than 30%.
