Fermented bed pig litter can not be too thin

The bedding for pigs in a fermentation system shouldn't be too thin. Some customers have achieved excellent results by using our golden treasure products with the fermentation bed, making the system more reliable and effective. However, others haven’t seen the expected outcomes. The issue isn’t with the product itself, but rather with some common misunderstandings during the setup and maintenance process. For example, many foreign systems require a fermentation bed that is at least one meter thick to ensure proper microbial activity and temperature control. With advanced technology, we’ve been able to reduce the thickness to 50 cm while still achieving the same effective fermentation results. But some users mistakenly believe that even 30 cm, 25 cm, or 20 cm will work just as well. This assumption is completely wrong. In the early stages of fermentation, a thin bed might still appear to work, but over time, it becomes insufficient. A too-thin fermentation bed can’t properly create the necessary humidity gradient, leading to poor absorption of excess moisture and manure. As a result, the bed becomes overly saturated, allowing harmful bacteria to thrive. This causes the temperature to drop, leading to unpleasant odors and spoilage. Moreover, pigs naturally tend to dig or arch their backs in the bedding. If the bed is too thin, repeated digging can destroy the structure, reducing its effectiveness and ultimately eliminating the benefits of the fermentation system altogether. To maintain optimal performance, it's crucial to follow the recommended thickness guidelines and ensure proper management throughout the entire process.
