1, after curing and feeding

The raw bean cake contains some harmful substances such as antitrypsin, urease, hemagglutinin, saponin, and goitogenic factors.

Among them, the most harmful is antitrypsin. These harmful substances not only cause diarrhea and other illnesses in livestock and poultry, but also cannot completely absorb the nutrients. Heating can destroy the harmful substances. The method is to heat the soybean cake on the steamer and continue heating for about half an hour after the water is opened. Use bean cake as feed must be matured before use.

2, avoid excessive use

Since the bean cake is a good protein feed, all livestock and poultry eat very much. However, excessive use is not only unhelpful but harmful. For example, feeding chickens with bean cake can generally account for 20% to 30% of the diet. If it exceeds 30%, it will cause protein poisoning of the chicken body and symptoms such as diarrhea and gout; cows will be fed with bean cake, usually 4 kg per day Appropriately, the amount of excessive feeding will reduce the milk production; pigs fed with bean cake can generally account for 10% to 20% of the diet, and more than 20% can cause diarrhea. If you feed more, It will make fat soft and pork quality worse.

3, supplement other nutrition

Due to the lack of vitamins A, D and carotene in the bean cake, the iron, calcium and phosphorus content is not abundant, so the use of bean cake feeding various livestock and poultry should pay attention to vitamin A, D and calcium, phosphorus and other nutritional ingredients. In addition, the amino acid composition of the bean cake is extremely unbalanced, and especially the content of methionine is low. Therefore, when feeding, cottonseed cakes, fish meal, and barnyardgrass can be used instead of part of the bean cake to balance the necessary amino acids. Energy feeds and appropriate amounts of animal protein should also be added to ensure that the nutrition in the diet is comprehensive.

4, moldy bean cake harm

Because of the high content of fat in the bean cake, it is easy to mold and degenerate. Soybean cake with mildew and spoilage is prone to produce aflatoxin in the livestock and poultry. Therefore, moldy soybean cake cannot be fed to prevent poisoning. In order to avoid moulding and deterioration of the bean cake and loss of feed value, the bean cake should be stored in a dry, ventilated, dark place. The storage time should not be too long.
