The types and ways of fungal contamination and mold contamination caused by mushroom fungus fungal contamination

First, mold species and damage

Slide mushroom cultivation, common contaminating molds are Trichoderma, Penicillium, Neurospora and Aspergillus. Such molds rapidly propagate and spread under conditions of high temperature, high humidity, and poor ventilation, and later form green, blue-green, orange-red, yellow, or black molds on the surface of the culture material. At this time, molds competed with the mushroom mycelium for nutrition, and some secreted toxins, affecting the growth and development of oyster mushrooms, of which the most serious damage to Trichoderma.

Second, the pollution

1. Culture material contamination. Inadequate culture formulation, excessive humidity, and incomplete sterilization.

2. Inoculation pollution. Bacterial discomfort, impure bacteria, poor viability, unsanitary inoculation environment, improper inoculation methods, and common mold contamination around inoculated blocks. When the inoculum size is less than 5% -10%, the growth advantage of the oyster mushroom is not obvious, and the mold will infect.

3. Pore hole contamination. The plastic bag is brittle, microporous or mechanically damaged, and the bacteria enter the gap, quickly forming an obvious pollution center.

4. Cultivate pollution. This condition is often manifested in the poor air permeability of the pouch fungus and the high temperature and humidity environment suitable for mold reproduction.
