The large-scale reproduction of cyanobacteria in aquaculture ponds has produced greater harm to water bodies and aquatic product species. First, the large-scale propagation of cyanobacteria inhibits the normal growth and development of other plankton in fish and shrimps; second, cyanobacteria cover the water surface, reducing the dissolved oxygen in the pond, and the water surface is covered by a thick blue-green lake, which is blown by the wind. Accumulation on the shore will not only give off bad odor and affect feeding and management. When serious, it can cause the death of fish and shrimps and aerobic organisms. Third, cyanobacteria death and decomposition, produce biological toxins, and can cause poisoning of farmed fish and shrimps. . Farmers adopt biological control and drug control methods. However, the effect of biological control methods on ponds that have been seriously damaged by cyanobacteria is not obvious. The use of copper sulphate pouring to kill, easily lead to heavy metal poisoning and pollution, affecting aquaculture production.

In order to quickly and effectively remove the blue algae from the pond, the author adopted a rapid removal method with obvious results, and farmers may wish to try.

The specific method is: Under the pond under the tuyères often have accumulation of cyanobacteria below the pool, place a diameter of 200 mm PVC horizontal drainage pipe, set a height to drain the pool of water is appropriate. The length of the inside of the pond should extend beyond the bottom of the slope in the pond, and it can be drained when the pond is used as a winter dry pond. In the inner side of the drain pipe at the end of the water inlet with the same type of right angle elbow pipe fittings, the other end of the right angle elbow and then use a plastic pipe of the same type sleeve, erected in the water body. The vertical drain height is about 0.5 meters higher than the maximum water level. At the upper end of the vertical drain pipe, a 45-degree slant is sawed with a hacksaw and has an elliptical beveled opening. When removing the blue algae from the water, the vertical drain pipe can be turned downwards to sink the inclined surface of the vertical drain pipe. In the upper surface layer of water, turn and adjust the bevel mouth parallel to the water surface, and the plane mouth is 0.2-0.3 cm lower than the water surface. At this time, a large amount of cyanobacteria at the lower tuyere is sucked into the drain pipe through the entrance of the bevel surface and discharged out of the pool. After clearing the cyanobacteria in the pond, turn the vertical drainage pipe so that the inclined surface of the vertical drainage pipe rises above the surface of the water, and the blue algae discharged into the water surface can be stopped and the blue algae discharged from the pond can be treated as relevant. This method can be used according to needs, press the vertical drain when the sinking oblique position in the water, can drain part of the old water in the pond, and then add fresh water to adjust the water quality.

At present, some farmers have used the same method to place a PVC drainage pipe system with a pipe diameter of 200 mm near the pond. To be reconstructed, a 45-degree bevel should be sawed with a hacksaw at the upper end of the vertical drain. In the same way, the cyanobacteria can be removed.

Matters needing attention: (1) Due to the need to turn, do not use PVC glue to glue the right angle elbow to the horizontal drain sleeve. (2) The inclined surface of the vertical drainage pipe shall be 0.5-0.8 meters away from the surface of the water surface, so as to prevent the shrimp on the bank from entering the drainage pipe and discharging the pond from the inclined surface inlet. (3) When used as a drain, the beveled mouth should be meshed with a suitable plastic net to prevent fish and shrimp from escaping.
