Pro-shelled turtle calcium spawning

Turtle rely on spawning to breed offspring. Its egg shells are rich in calcium. If the body of the pro-shelled turtle lacks calcium, it will produce soft-shelled eggs, and the soft-shelled eggs will be easily damaged, and they will not be able to hatch a robust juvenile. Turtle production will be extremely unfavorable. Calcium is concentrated in bones and dental plates in the body of a soft-shelled turtle. It participates in the composition of bones and blood. For example, a lack of calcium in the body of a soft-shelled turtle causes calcium transfer barriers in tooth plates and bones. Muscle nerves lose their normal excitability. The egg becomes a soft shell egg, losing its hatchery utilization value. When the body of the pro-shelled turtle is not deficient in calcium, the egg it produces is milky-white on the outside, and the shell is smooth and calcareous, and it is hard and unbreakable. When feeding soft-shelled turtles, live snails, live cockroaches, live lobsters, etc. should be fed before and after spawning each year from September to October each year to meet the calcium requirement of pro-shelled turtles. Snails and oysters can be directly put into the rearing pond for turtles to feed on their own. Shrimp should be fed after dying, in order to prevent shrimps from swimming quickly and escape, making the turtle hard to eat. The feeding amount of snails and clams is about 1/3 of the daily feed. Fresh snail meat contains 1357 mg of calcium per 100 g. The snail meat tastes delicious and soft-shelled turtles love to eat. If there is no such live bait in the local area, some quicklime can be regularly sprinkled in the rearing pond. Quicklime is a common calcium-rich material that can not only supply calcium to the body but also prevent and cure certain diseases. After the quicklime encounters water, it can play a role in precipitation of harmful suspended solids in the pool. The effect of cleaning the water body is very obvious, and the number of water changes can be reduced. The general application dose is within 1 cubic meter of water. It is advisable to sprinkle 10-20 grams of quicklime powder. The practice of raising turtle farms is known: In the ponds fed with snails or lime, none of the crustaceans produced soft shell eggs; the number of eggs laid by the crustacea was higher than that of the control ponds. More than 2-3 pieces per tail; the juvenile fishes hatched had sensitive exercise performance and increased food intake; the survival rate was 97.4%, which was 24.3% higher than that of the control group; and the growth rate was increased by more than 46.5% compared with the control group.

Red Ginseng is widely used in daily life. It can be sliced in the mouth for a while, chewed, brewed tea, swallowed after grinding, or swallowed.
